简介:Abstract

The development of a clean and low emission combustor is one of the grand challenges of the advanced gas turbine. In this presentation, an overview of researches on the low emission combustor technology developed by the speaker’s group is briefly introduced. Then a patented technology named air fuel premixer having arrayed mixing vanes for gas turbine hydrogen-rich combustion is presented. The combustion instability, effects of pressure perturbation and equivalent ratio fluctuations in this combustor are studied. Effects of H2 content on the flow field and flame responses are obtained. Experimental studies of hydrogen rich fuels by this combustor are completed. The results show that the combustor has good working performance, and can meet the requirements of NOx emissions less than 25ppm. It has the potential to further development.

报告人介绍:Brief Biography

Dr. Wenjun Kong is a Professor at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research activities involve both theoretical and experimental work in combustion science and technology, including gas turbine combustion, microgravity combustion and micro scale combustion. He has authored more than 80 papers and 6 patents on these subjects. Professor Kong is a committee member of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics. He is a peer reviewer for numerous archival journals, NSFC and 973 research proposals.
